US Regional MRO Sourcing Commodity Manager (Semiconductor)

Salary: $59,000–$103,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned commodity categories, supporting supply continuity, technology roadmaps, cost competitiveness, and business objectives.
• Serve as the regional sourcing contact for ongoing manufacturing operations and new product qualification projects.
• Lead supplier relationship management, supplier development, performance improvement, onboarding, and alternate-source initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate supply-chain risks through continuity planning, capacity management, supplier monitoring, and alternate product development.
• Partner with operations, engineering, planning, quality, finance, and global sourcing teams on savings, productivity, risk reduction, and supplier readiness.
• Lead negotiations, contract updates, purchase agreement management, process improvements, analytics, and procurement governance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Global Supply Management, Business, Political Science, Geography, or a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Resourceful, analytical, interpersonal, and self-directed approach to work.
• Experience building strong internal and external relationships.
• Demonstrated experience with change-management projects producing measurable positive business outcomes.
• Strong ability to use Microsoft Office, Oracle, and business-specific software systems.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Global Supply Management, Business, or a relevant field.
• Experience with negotiations and sourcing for high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Experience in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
• In-depth knowledge of semiconductor materials or capital equipment.
