2027 Enterprise AI Intern

Location: New York City metro area, New York, United States

Annual base pay: $100,000–$110,000, prorated based on the internship start and end date

hirify.global is a global multi-manager hedge fund investing across Quant, Tactical, Fundamental Equity, and Discretionary Macro & Fixed Income strategies using proprietary technology, infrastructure, and risk analytics.

What you will do

• Own a backlog of prioritized enterprise AI use cases from idea through requirements gathering, solution design, build, testing, rollout, and adoption tracking.
• Work directly with business stakeholders to clarify ambiguous problems and deliver scoped solutions for end users.
• Build on shared AI infrastructure, services, APIs, SDKs, and evaluation tooling in partnership with the Platform & Tools function.
• Measure adoption and impact after launch and provide feedback on platform capabilities needed by use cases.
• Collaborate with senior team members in a fast-paced, technology-driven investment environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in a technical field such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, or electrical engineering; ideally with one year remaining in the academic program.
• Excellent programming skills in Python.
• Working understanding of building and operating LLM-based applications, including prompting, retrieval, agents, and model APIs, with judgment about when they are and are not appropriate.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clear requirements and scoped, deliverable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with non-technical business stakeholders to drive adoption.
• Creative problem-solving skills, a bias toward shipping working solutions end to end, and strong attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go, Java, or TypeScript.
• Previous financial industry experience.
• Hands-on exposure to AWS or Azure and shared internal services, APIs, or SDKs.
• Experience delivering projects directly to end users, including requirements gathering, testing, and post-launch usage measurement.
