Continuous Improvement Manager

Location: Nuneaton, United Kingdom. Hybrid working with an expectation of attending the hirify.global office in Nuneaton at least 2 days per week.

What you will do

• Lead complex, cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives aligned with major business priorities.
• Use data, process mapping, root cause analysis, and structured problem solving to identify and address underlying issues.
• Design, test, and embed improved ways of working, challenging solution-first approaches where appropriate.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, cost, capacity, quality, and customer and colleague experience.
• Build benefit baselines and work with Finance and business owners to validate sustainable financial and non-financial outcomes, delivering £1m+ in validated financial benefits annually.
• Identify appropriate automation and AI opportunities and coach Green Belts, Yellow Belts, CI Managers, and apprentices.

Requirements

• Experience in continuous improvement, process excellence, operational excellence, or transformation, with a track record of implementing change.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt qualification or equivalent depth of practical experience.
• Experience leading complex improvement work from problem definition through implementation and benefits realisation.
• Proven track record of delivering £1m+ in validated financial benefits.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate issues beyond the initial answer.
• Confidence facilitating workshops, bringing teams together, and constructively challenging assumptions.
• Ability to move between operational detail and broader business outcomes.
• Experience coaching others and developing continuous improvement capability.
• A curious, practical mindset and genuine interest in finding better ways of working.
