Assurance Principal - Technology (Technology)

Location: Frisco, Texas, United States; other listed locations include Houston, Texas. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is preferred.

What you will do

• Provide industry-focused assurance and consulting services to technology clients.
• Build client relationships by understanding business goals, challenges, and operational needs throughout the year.
• Design and implement testing for internal-control deficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Manage fieldwork, engagement staffing, billings, collections, quality, delivery timelines, and client profitability.
• Provide financial-statement guidance, business recommendations, analysis, and actionable insight.
• Develop new client opportunities, collaborate across service lines, and mentor team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; a master’s or advanced degree is desirable.
• CPA certification required.
• 8+ years of financial-statement auditing experience in a professional-services firm, with technology experience desired.
• 5+ years of technology experience preferred.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and counseling associates, desired.
• Demonstrated management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project-management, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, maintain ethical standards, stay current with applicable strategies, understand both the broader context and details, and complete quality work on time.
