Assurance Senior Manager (NorCal Real Estate)

Location: Hybrid role in San Francisco, California; compensation also references Walnut Creek, California. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is required.

Salary: $137,700–$234,200 in San Francisco, CA; $132,400–$225,200 in Walnut Creek, CA.

What you will do

• Deliver assurance and consulting services to real estate clients and advise on financial statements, profitability, and business operations.
• Build year-round client relationships to understand business goals and challenges.
• Develop and implement internal-control testing, identify deficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Manage fieldwork, engagement staffing, billings, collections, quality, delivery timelines, and client profitability.
• Provide financial statement guidance, business recommendations, analysis, and client-facing insight.
• Build internal and external relationships to support new clients, projects, and revenue, while mentoring team members.

Requirements

• Four-year degree, CPA, and eight years of experience are required.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, support continuous learning, and maintain ethical and quality standards.
• Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or advanced degree in accounting.
• Eight or more years of financial statement auditing experience within a public accounting firm.
• Real estate industry experience.
• Five or more years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and counseling associates.
