Demand Planner

What you will do

• Maintain rolling demand forecasts by product, product family, and planning horizon.
• Analyze customer orders, backlog, historical demand, and forecast changes.
• Prepare and support monthly demand reviews and the S&OP process.
• Measure forecast accuracy and bias, identify significant changes, and investigate root causes.
• Translate system demand into purchasing and material-planning requirements, including expediting or de-expediting material.
• Communicate demand risks and support shortage, schedule, material-readiness, new-product, phase-out, and major customer or program reviews.

Requirements

• Ownership and accountability in demand-planning activities.
• Cross-functional communication with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance, Order Entry, Production Planning, Procurement, and other Supply Chain functions.
• Data-driven problem solving, ERP/MRP discipline, and continuous-improvement mindset.
• Safety and quality mindset.
