Cell Culture Associate Scientist (Biotechnology)

Location: Piscataway, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 per year, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Perform suspension cell culture operations according to established protocols.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cell culture processes and help resolve production issues.
• Document experiments, procedures, and results and prepare reports.
• Submit weekly work summaries to support team planning and performance reviews.
• Collaborate on production records and SOP updates to improve accuracy and consistency.
• Support additional tasks and projects assigned by the department supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in cell biology, biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in cell culture or laboratory operations is preferred.
• Strong hands-on laboratory skills and the ability to work independently and troubleshoot effectively.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Responsibility, reliability, proactivity, and the ability to meet deadlines and deliver projects.
• Prior experience in a CRO or CDMO environment is preferred.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with laboratory data documentation systems and good data integrity practices.
