Senior Programme Manager (Data Centre Construction & Optimisation)

Location: Hybrid across operations in London, England; Dublin, Ireland; Paris, France; or Amsterdam, Netherlands. The role involves working directly in live, operational data centres across EMEA.

What you will do

• Lead multiple infrastructure improvement and construction projects across EMEA, managing scope, budgets, schedules, dependencies and priorities.
• Develop delivery strategies and coordinate Operations, engineering, commercial stakeholders, contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary specialists.
• Manage forecasting, cost control, procurement, commercial performance and change management.
• Identify and mitigate technical, operational, commercial and scheduling risks while maintaining safety and business continuity.
• Oversee implementation, testing, commissioning, acceptance and formal handover in live data centres.
• Maintain programme governance, reporting and stakeholder updates while identifying efficiency and continuous-improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Significant experience managing complex non-IT infrastructure programmes or multiple concurrent construction projects.
• Strong background in data centres, critical infrastructure or other mission-critical environments.
• Proven experience delivering infrastructure upgrades in live operational environments where business continuity and safety are essential.
• Experience across construction, quantity surveying and/or mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Knowledge of critical building systems, including electrical distribution, HVAC and cooling.
• Strong commercial management skills covering budgets, forecasting, cost control and procurement.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Experience coordinating contractors and multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations.
• Track record of managing projects through implementation, commissioning and handover.
