Fullstack Software Engineer (Vue)

Location: Hybrid in Columbus, Ohio, United States, with required in-office days on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Salary: $120,000–$135,000 per year, plus a 5% variable annual bonus and potential RSU grant.

What you will do

• Own software features from concept through production delivery.
• Design, build, and evolve Java services, modules, and APIs supporting high-volume tracking, data, and commerce workflows.
• Maintain and create customer-facing screens that configure and drive backend data processing.
• Make technical decisions involving service boundaries, relational data, asynchronous processing, reliability, and operational performance.
• Integrate external APIs, resolve production issues, and build reliable consumer interfaces.
• Contribute through design discussions, code review, mentoring, and agile team improvement.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of Java 8+, Spring frameworks, and Spring MVC.
• Experience with SQL, MySQL or another relational database, and JDBC.
• Expertise in vanilla JavaScript, HTML, CSS, DOM manipulation, and RESTful APIs.
• Comfort working in the Linux terminal and using command-line tools to troubleshoot systems.
• Clear communication and collaborative problem-solving skills, with experience helping teams deliver high-quality software.
• Working knowledge of JWTs, protection against XSS, and prevention of SQL injection.

Nice to have

• Applied experience with Vue.
• Experience translating requirements and stakeholder feedback into features and building interfaces from design mockups such as Figma.
• Production delivery experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions and CDNs for serving web assets.
• Experience with public cloud platforms and cloud-native or serverless technologies, preferably Google Cloud.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code thoughtfully and effectively.
• Affiliate & Partnerships Industry Fundamentals Certification by PXA.
