Staff Software Engineer (.NET)

What you will do

• Lead technical design and architecture for ABP-based applications, including module boundaries, shared libraries, and engineering conventions.
• Ship high-quality production full-stack code and own end-to-end quality for complex and ambiguous problems.
• Set .NET standards, lead code and design reviews, mentor engineers, and improve team execution without formal authority.
• Build secure-by-design systems for AWS GovCloud and government customer environments.
• Own reliability, performance, observability, incident root-cause resolution, and production tooling decisions.
• Lead .NET and ABP major-version upgrades while translating customer and business needs into technical priorities with Engineering and Product leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including multiple years owning the architecture of production systems.
• Proven ability to lead technical delivery across a team without formal authority.
• 5+ years building production systems with C# and ASP.NET Core, including strong knowledge of request pipelines, dependency-injection lifetimes, and asynchronous behavior under load.
• Strong EF Core and PostgreSQL experience, including migrations across environments, query plans, indexing, and concurrency control.
• Production experience with ABP Framework is strongly preferred; equivalent experience with the same patterns in another .NET framework may substitute if ABP can be learned quickly.
• Experience diagnosing and fixing .NET performance problems in production using tools such as dotnet-trace, dotnet-counters, or Datadog APM.
• Working proficiency in Angular and TypeScript sufficient to ship features end to end.
• Experience with distributed systems, AWS cloud infrastructure, containers, and CI/CD.
• Secure coding discipline and experience in regulated or high-assurance environments.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including briefing engineers and executives.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; certain programs may require U.S. citizenship.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
