Production Training Support Specialist

Location: US-Remote; the position is in the United States.

Salary: $83,000–$87,000 annually.

What you will do

• Serve as a subject matter expert on the VA Vocational Readiness & Employment Rehabilitation and Employment Services system.
• Deliver interactive virtual technical training and explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical learners.
• Provide production support, customer service, and resolution for RES-related questions and requests.
• Maintain expertise on system changes and participate in enhancement meetings as a subject matter expert.
• Analyze data discrepancies, identify root causes, and report findings for resolution.
• Create training materials based on customer support needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or commensurate experience with training and support systems, plus 5–8 years of experience.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in clear, easy-to-understand language.
• Strong relationship-building, organization, time-management, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Self-directed and proactive, with the ability to anticipate learner questions and customer needs.
• Knowledge and proficiency in adult learning.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Software expertise in Office 365, including Teams and SharePoint.
• At least 1 year of experience in the software industry using Agile methods.
