Staff, Technology Operations

Location: Upstream Building AR Bentonville Home Office, 1601 SE 10th St, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States; onsite role.

Annual salary: $90,000–$180,000, plus performance bonuses and potential stock.

What you will do

• Define the path for future launches and lead cross-functional launch readiness and performance-improvement mechanisms.
• Assess service requirements, identify risks, and support successful project completion.
• Manage program budgets, financial inputs, business cases, operating plans, milestones, dependencies, and performance baselines.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and build stakeholder consensus through clear communication and influence.
• Translate business requirements into technology strategies and initiatives that deliver measurable value.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend operational-efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or a related area, plus 4 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or a related area.
• Option 2: 6 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or a related area.
• Expertise in program and financial management, including budgeting, cost monitoring, and ROI projection.
• Skills in program estimation, risk assessment, mitigation, monitoring, and control for small- to medium-complexity projects.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional work, maintain project health, manage stakeholders, influence decisions, and build consensus.
• Understanding of business operations, KPIs, decision-making processes, technology landscapes, and data analysis.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant field plus 3 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or a related area.
• Knowledge of inclusive digital experiences, WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, digital accessibility best practices, and Walmart accessibility standards.
