2027 Guardian Summer MBA Associate, Strategy (AI)

Location: New York, NY, United States; hybrid, in office 3 days per week. Housing is not provided.

Base pay: $12,000–$13,600 per month. The separately listed $20–$35 hourly rate should be disregarded.

What you will do

• Support strategic vision, direction, and near-term priorities for Guardian’s Financial Protection and Retirement Solutions businesses.
• Conduct competitor and industry research, operational and financial analysis, market sizing, and strategic deep dives.
• Develop content for strategic topics and executive-level working sessions.
• Assess business cases for innovation, partnerships, and other investment opportunities.
• Work with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to identify, evaluate, prioritize, and deliver strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• First-year MBA student graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen.
• Demonstrated project leadership potential, including workstream prioritization and collaboration with cross-functional colleagues.
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
• Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and judgment, with the ability to navigate relationships and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of AI capabilities and tools, including prompt design, use-case prioritization, and AI value drivers.
• Proactive, independent, creative, high-energy, and strong work ethic with a self-starter mindset.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. F-1 OPT holders requiring H-1B status, TN holders, and current H-1B visa holders will not be considered.
• Must be available for the full program dates: May 27, 2027 through August 6, 2027.
