Staff Product Designer, Core Platform

Location: Remote; fully remote and async-friendly.

What you will do

• Own product design for Home across the platform and a new broad platform-wide initiative.
• Set design direction across Core areas as priorities change.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering leads to define the roadmap, including what gets built, why, and when.
• Work cross-functionally with stakeholders including sales, risk, and compliance, while keeping the product experience coherent and consistent.
• Mentor Senior Designers and support hiring through recruiting, interviewing, and raising the design bar.
• Make autonomous decisions, ship quickly, and continuously iterate on the product.

Requirements

• Staff-level product design experience across broad, ambiguous areas.
• At least 10 years of experience leading end-to-end product design for web and/or mobile applications.
• Strong UX and UI expertise, including experience working with, implementing, or scaling design systems.
• Experience owning the full design cycle from ideation and strategy through implementation and design QA.
• Track record of cross-functional alignment, explaining complex strategy to leadership, and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Very high craft standards and a portfolio with a strong visual impact; at least one case study is required.
• Active use of AI as an initial design tool before Figma or documentation, including experimentation with AI workflows, rapid prototyping, interaction patterns, or AI-powered product experiences.
• Ability to push work to production; mature, autonomous, builder mindset and comfort working in ambiguity and switching context quickly.

• Experience at fast-moving product companies such as Uber, Revolut, or Coinbase, or on products such as Notion or Linear.
• AI features or AI tools demonstrated in the portfolio.
