Senior Privacy Analyst (SaaS)

What you will do

• Lead complex, cross-functional privacy assessments and initiatives across products, services, and subprocessors.
• Advise business, product, customer-facing, and internal stakeholders on practical, risk-based privacy guidance and privacy by design.
• Assess personal data processing, technical architectures, data flows, controls, and privacy program effectiveness; document obligations and risks through PIAs, DPIAs, LIAs, and ROPAs.
• Drive remediation plans, corrective actions, privacy processes, controls, and supporting documentation through completion.
• Oversee privacy rights requests, complex privacy inquiries, due diligence questionnaires, product audits, and privacy evidence.
• Interpret global privacy laws and regulatory developments and lead privacy event, incident, and breach investigations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressively responsible privacy experience, including independent ownership of complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Substantial exposure to global data protection and privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and CCPA, and relevant standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, SSAE 18, the NIST Privacy Framework, and Privacy by Design.
• Ability to translate complex privacy requirements into practical business guidance, negotiate priorities, resolve issues, and drive change with stakeholders across Operations, HR, IT, Security, Legal, and Product.
• Experience applying privacy requirements in a global technology environment, preferably involving software, SaaS, or cloud services.
• Ability to review technical documentation, system architecture, and data flow diagrams to identify personal data processing and assess privacy risks.
• Bachelor’s degree in privacy, law, information governance, information systems, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• At least one recognized privacy certification, such as CIPP, CIPM, or CIPT, or another relevant certification.
• Ability to work independently in a distributed environment, manage competing priorities, meet deadlines under pressure, and escalate significant privacy risks appropriately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining current knowledge of privacy laws, regulatory expectations, technology, and industry practices.
