Platform Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Build and maintain Enterprise IT GitHub pipelines, CI/CD workflows, branching strategies, automation standards, playbooks, and operational tooling.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations connecting enterprise systems, services, and data.
• Co-manage MCP connectors that securely integrate AI tools with enterprise data and services.
• Build and maintain scalable Azure infrastructure and administer Microsoft 365, including SharePoint Online and Exchange Online governance, policies, retention, sharing, recovery, and restore operations.
• Implement identity and access management, including SSO with SAML and OIDC, SCIM provisioning, Entra ID app registrations, role mapping, and least-privilege Microsoft Graph permissions.
• Partner with Corporate IT, business units, and stakeholders to deliver secure, documented, scalable engineering solutions and provide technical guidance to AI platforms and projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of combined professional experience and education in Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related field; 4+ years of relevant work experience may substitute for a degree.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation using GitHub Enterprise or a comparable platform.
• Experience developing and integrating APIs, such as RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Python scripting.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, OneDrive/SharePoint Online, Teams, and Power Platform; Microsoft Azure cloud computing and architecture; and enterprise automation.
• Experience with identity and data security controls, including Conditional Access, PIM, Microsoft Purview, DLP, sensitivity labels, information protection, Entra ID, SSO, MFA, and Microsoft Defender tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders, plus a client-focused and continuous-improvement mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience building or integrating AI tool connectors, including MCP.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview data security and governance, insider risk management, role-based IAM, Entra ID, and Infrastructure as Code with Bicep or ARM templates.
• Experience supporting security frameworks such as NIST CSF and applying defense-in-depth, least-privilege, and secure-by-design principles.
• Understanding of PCI DSS and exposure to the payments industry.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
