What you will do
- Define, design, and execute comprehensive test plans with product and engineering teams.
- Develop end-to-end test cases covering positive, negative, corner, regression, and smoke scenarios.
- Integrate and maintain automated UI and API tests and improve reusable automation frameworks and infrastructure.
- Conduct exploratory testing, reproduce and triage defects, and provide metrics and analysis for release decisions.
- Monitor test stability, document results, and promote quality practices across the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a QA Automation Engineer, or as a developer with a strong focus on testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience designing test plans, developing test cases, and documenting outcomes for complex product features.
- Experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks and using UI and/or API automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress.
- Python experience, even if it is not the main programming language.
- Comfort working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
- Equivalent competencies may be considered for the listed requirements.
