Legal Consultant – E-Commerce & Data Protection B2B (all genders)

What you will do

• Advise independently on data protection and IT law in day-to-day, strategic, and project-related matters at the intersection of IT law and e-commerce.
• Handle B2B customer inquiries and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external law firms.
• Prepare records of processing activities, privacy policies, and data protection impact assessments.
• Draft, review, and manage company-specific contracts.
• Support the development and implementation of technology products, IT systems, business processes, and contracts at national and international level.
• Work directly with the General Counsel, support knowledge management, and establish administrative and organizational processes.

Requirements

• Completed Master's degree in Business Law (LL.M.), first state examination in law, or an equivalent academic qualification.
• Initial practical experience in e-commerce law, IT law, and/or data protection law.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong technology affinity and interest in quickly learning new digital and legal topics.
• Structured, solution-oriented approach with the ability to understand complex issues quickly and communicate them clearly.
• Strong teamwork skills, flexibility, initiative, and enthusiasm for working with diverse stakeholders in a dynamic international environment.

Nice to have

• Initial experience in project management.
