Forensic Accounting Senior Consultant (AI)

Location: Available in four locations in the United States; ability to travel and work additional hours when required. Candidates must verify eligibility to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $76,200–$151,000 per year.

What you will do

• Investigate complex business cases involving forensic accounting, fraud, litigation support, regulatory response, post-acquisition disputes, and insurance claims.
• Analyze financial records, transaction-level data, large datasets, accounting entries, trends, anomalies, and exceptions.
• Prepare financial analyses, investigative reports, litigation schedules, data summaries, exhibits, and client-ready presentations.
• Develop quantitative data analysis, data mining, and database-driven reporting solutions for investigations, litigation, and regulatory inquiries.
• Manage engagement resources, budgets, processes, client commitments, quality, and issue resolution.
• Lead, mentor, and coach interns and staff while identifying opportunities to support existing and new clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA eligible or active CPA license required.
• Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Professional services firm experience required.
• At least two years of accounting experience required. Forensic accounting, economic crime investigation, fraud investigation, law enforcement, litigation support, dispute advisory, or data analytics experience is preferred within this background.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience analyzing financial records, transaction-level data, large datasets, or accounting entries to identify trends, anomalies, or exceptions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel and work additional hours when required.

Nice to have

• CFE or CFF certification.
• Previous audit experience and staff supervisory experience.
• Experience supporting litigation, regulatory inquiries, fraud investigations, or complex business disputes.
• Experience with data analytics and reporting tools, dashboards, and data mining procedures.
• Desire to develop leadership and networking skills and build relationships with internal and external business decision-makers.
