Director of Network Strategy (Logistics)

What you will do

• Own long-term transportation network strategy across lanes, facilities, hubs, and modal mix.
• Lead network modeling and scenario analysis for capacity, capital, and expansion decisions.
• Partner with Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Engineering to align network plans with customer demand and business goals.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost per mile, improve asset utilization, and strengthen service reliability.
• Evaluate new markets, partnerships, and technologies including automation and electrification.
• Build and lead a team of analysts and strategists, and present recommendations to executive leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Deep understanding of network design, freight economics, and operational constraints.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with optimization and simulation tools, SQL, or Python.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and executives.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations research, business, or a related field.
