Early Professional – Infrastructure & Systems Administrator (AI)

Location: In person in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico.

What you will do

• Monitor, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot hybrid enterprise environments across Linux and Windows operating systems, networking, and client/server architectures.
• Develop, test, and maintain Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive system administration tasks.
• Apply generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AIOps concepts to log analysis, incident diagnostics, knowledge retrieval, and event correlation.
• Use database concepts, SQL, and JSON to inspect operational metrics and analyze system logs.
• Collaborate through Git repositories and gain practical exposure to Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Partner with regional and global teams while following operational procedures and providing clear technical communication.

Requirements

• Recent graduate or final-year student in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline.
• 0–1 year of professional experience; internships, university projects, laboratories, technical certifications, and bootcamps count as relevant experience, while previous production experience is not required.
• Foundational knowledge of Linux and Windows, computer architecture, networking fundamentals including TCP/IP and DNS, virtualization, cloud concepts, database fundamentals, and SQL.
• Understanding of programming fundamentals, Python, basic Bash or PowerShell scripting, REST APIs, JSON, and Git/version control.
• Awareness of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and LLMs, with interest in prompt engineering and responsible use of AI tools.
• Logical reasoning, attention to detail, structured problem-solving skills, and the ability to assist with log analysis and troubleshooting.
• Technical curiosity, learning agility, personal accountability, teamwork, and a service-oriented mindset.
• Effective written and verbal English communication for regional and global working environments.

Nice to have

• VMware, enterprise cloud platforms, and IT operations monitoring frameworks.
• Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Ansible and Infrastructure as Code tooling.
• Practical experience using AI for troubleshooting, documentation generation, or intelligent monitoring.
