Junior IT Infrastructure & AI Engineer

Location: Mexico City, Mexico; hybrid work with an average requirement of 2 days per week from an HPE office.

What you will do

• Support IT infrastructure activities covering servers, storage, networking, operating systems, and virtualization.
• Participate in installing, configuring, documenting, and supporting technology environments.
• Develop scripts or small applications to automate operational and technical tasks.
• Participate in artificial intelligence initiatives and proof-of-concept activities for evaluating new technologies and solutions.
• Use APIs and integration tools to connect applications, infrastructure platforms, and AI services.
• Document configurations, procedures, test results, and technical recommendations while keeping current with infrastructure, cloud computing, automation, and AI technologies.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of technical experience and an Associate of Arts/Science or equivalent two-year college degree in computer science or a related field.
• Advanced English and good English communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages, preferably Python; Java or JavaScript; and PowerShell or Bash.
• Basic knowledge of artificial intelligence, AI tools and APIs, and Python applied to AI and data analysis.
