IT Technician Analyst

Location: Onsite manufacturing plant in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico; off-shift or weekend support may be required according to production schedules.

What you will do

• Provide first- and second-level support for hardware, software, networks, end-user devices, and office IT resources across the manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain PCs, industrial PCs, tablets, handheld scanners, printers, labelers, barcode/RFID scanners, HMIs, vision systems, and quality-control equipment.
• Support manufacturing applications and integrations, including MES, ERP interfaces, SCADA, production monitoring systems, and production machinery.
• Install, configure, and maintain PCs, servers, industrial switches, shop-floor equipment, plant networks, wireless connectivity, server rooms, UPS systems, and network closets.
• Monitor production infrastructure uptime, maintain backups and recovery procedures, and apply security patches, updates, antivirus management, and incident escalation.
• Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and Operations teams to support production reliability and productivity.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of IT support experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Office 365, and Active Directory.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems, industrial PCs, and production IT hardware.
• Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, industrial Ethernet, and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with handheld scanners, label printers, and production-related IT devices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure in a production-critical environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional IT, Engineering, and Operations teams.
