Senior Product Manager, Tax

Location: New York, New York; onsite at the New York City office.

Base wage: $166,000–$242,500 per year for the New York City office.

What you will do

• Own the roadmap for one or more tax-focused product pods.
• Drive tax calculation accuracy, filing operations, compliance workflows, and reconciliation tooling.
• Partner with Design to address user pain points in tax filing, reporting, rate setup, and communications.
• Scope, prioritize, and execute initiatives from research-backed case development through delivery.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Operations, Compliance, and other Product Managers to solve complex problems.
• Remove obstacles, improve team productivity, and align product outcomes with business objectives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of product management experience in a modern technology business.
• Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence partners without authority.
• Interest in using generative AI to reduce daily tasks while retaining critical thinking and core product knowledge.
• Experience leading complex, cross-team initiatives from ideation through execution.
• Track record of shipping continuous improvements to an existing product portfolio at scale.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex problems for execution against business needs.
• Deep user empathy, a high bar for user experience, and strong communication skills, including communicating scope and strategic changes.
• Understanding of engineering concepts, concerns, and tradeoffs.
