Product Leader (Crypto P2P)

Location: Remote, APAC

Salary: $134.2K–$298.9K annual base salary, plus potential equity and bonus

What you will do

• Set the P2P marketplace vision, business objectives, roadmap, market expansion priorities, customer segments, and payment-method strategy across APAC.
• Build merchant acquisition, onboarding, incentives, retention, liquidity, pricing, and coverage strategies.
• Define marketplace fees and incentives, and improve revenue, transaction costs, and contribution margin with finance and commercial partners.
• Lead development of matching, escrow, order management, payment confirmation, transaction limits, merchant controls, disputes, and appeals.
• Build reusable platform capabilities and integration requirements for multiple Payward products, channels, and markets.
• Lead launches and operating performance while partnering with engineering, product, risk, compliance, legal, operations, commercial, and senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience launching and scaling a crypto P2P marketplace in APAC, ideally including a launch from zero.
• Senior product leadership experience owning strategy, roadmaps, and measurable commercial outcomes.
• Deep understanding of merchant operations, two-sided liquidity, pricing, incentives, and P2P trading economics.
• Practical knowledge of APAC payment methods, local banking and wallet ecosystems, and differences in customer behavior across markets.
• Experience building shared platform capabilities used by multiple products, channels, or external partners.
• Strong judgment regarding fraud, payment verification, transaction disputes, and the operational realities of financial marketplaces.
• Technical fluency across APIs, transaction lifecycles, payment integrations, and reliable financial systems.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead partnerships with engineering, interface product, operations, risk, and commercial teams.

Nice to have

• Experience expanding P2P across several APAC markets.
• Experience with stablecoins and local fiat on/off-ramps.
• Experience building and leading product teams.
• Fluency in one or more APAC languages.
