What you will do

• Teach psychology courses as a part-time adjunct faculty member.
• Deliver courses in person according to departmental needs, including days, evenings, or weekends.
• Communicate effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
• Interact with students from multicultural backgrounds.
• Work cooperatively with others while maintaining the ability to work independently.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Psychology from an accredited university.
• Teaching experience.
• Broad training in psychology.
• Strong self-discipline and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
• Ability to interact with students from multicultural backgrounds.
• Selected candidates must pass a pre-employment background investigation and credential verification.

Nice to have

• Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited university.
• Experience serving as an instructor of record at the college or university level.
• Experience teaching at a multicultural university.
• Experience teaching in a non-traditional commuter university setting.
• Ability to teach a range of psychology courses.
