Area Translation Localisation Manager

What you will do

• Intake translation and interpretation requests, scope projects and costs, and create project orders.
• Coordinate with product management, production, Communication and Publishing teams, and other Area departments on localisation elements.
• Manage translation, language production, interpretation, and text editing services.
• Deliver completed localised assets to Production or other clients.
• Maintain project lists and dashboards, monitor workflows, and coordinate with the Localisation Project Management Group at Church Headquarters on global Church products.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Area Translation Manager.

Requirements

• Strong commitment to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its mission.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Five years of experience in translation, interpretation, localisation project management, comparable project management disciplines, or related fields; alternatively, a combination of education and experience totalling nine years.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
• Ability to communicate successfully across language and cultural boundaries.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with industry-standard project and translation management tools.
• Passion for high levels of customer service.
• Advanced knowledge of standard information processing and publishing tools.
• Affinity for AI and automation.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in a second language.
• Career jumpers are welcome if broader qualifications are met.
