Senior Audit Manager, Finance and Treasury (AI)

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay and remaining days remote.

What you will do

• Lead multi-skilled audit teams on large and highly complex audits across Finance groups.
• Plan and manage risk-based audit assignments by assessing business processes, inherent risks, and control environments.
• Provide independent opinions on the design and operating effectiveness of operational and management controls.
• Identify control weaknesses, assess their severity and materiality, and report potential business impacts.
• Work with business management to develop realistic, workable action plans that mitigate long-term risk exposure.
• Improve audit practices and efficiency while advising on risk assessment and controls.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of proven and progressive audit experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Financial Accounting and Reporting.
• Experience in Finance or Treasury businesses is an asset.
• Business degree, such as an MBA, or an accounting designation such as CPA, CFA, or CIA.
• Ability to investigate complex problems, interpret detailed information, and communicate findings effectively.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with diverse business partners and collaborate across teams.
• Understanding of how AI, automation, and advanced analytics can support audit execution and risk insight, with responsible use of professional judgment, skepticism, and control awareness.
• Legal eligibility to work at the specified location and, where applicable, a valid work or study permit.
