Junior Associate Director, Fund Accounting (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid — Vancouver, BC, Canada; regular schedule from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time.

What you will do

• Assist in managing a team responsible for NAV production, financial statements, and related client reports.
• Ensure the accuracy of client deliverables and accountability for service-level agreement deadlines.
• Coordinate resources, cross-training, coverage, team engagement, and operational efficiency.
• Manage audit processes and prepare or review financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with SOC1 operational controls and completion of required checklists.
• Oversee timely billing and collections, participate in system initiatives, and contribute to process and technology improvements.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education or a university degree with a concentration in finance or accounting.
• Completion of a professional accounting designation such as CA, CGA, CMA, ACCA, ICAEW, CFA, or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of experience in the fund administration industry.
• Experience managing staff, including administrators, investment managers, or fund auditors.
• Availability to work from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time as the regular schedule.
