Temporary Application Analyst (Epic)

Location: Remote within the United States, including Illinois, New York, Tennessee, Massachusetts, Colorado, Wisconsin, and Texas; consulting may be performed remotely or onsite at client locations.

Pay rate: $22.50–$109.20 per hour.

What you will do

• Plan, design, build, test, implement, optimize, and support Epic EHR applications.
• Lead requirements gathering and workflow analysis, including clinical and business process design.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to align application configuration, workflows, integrations, and process design.
• Identify workflow and build issues, develop tailored solutions, and provide support to clinical and business end-users.
• Lead or support testing, training, implementation, mentoring, and client-site guidance.
• Build relationships with clients, Epic, and internal stakeholders while contributing to consulting-business growth.

Requirements

• Five or more years of Epic implementation experience, including design, build, and configuration.
• Current Epic certifications for applicable applications and good standing with Epic.
• Knowledge of clinical or business workflows in a healthcare-provider environment.
• Ability to provide consulting services remotely or onsite at client locations.
• Advanced verbal and written communication, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, time-management, collaboration, problem-solving, and project-management skills.
• Highly developed Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, manage schedules and multiple projects, develop tailored solutions, and complete work within established timelines.
• Ability to provide exceptional client service, maintain ethical standards, pursue continuous learning, understand both strategic context and details, and demonstrate urgency and commitment to quality.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; equivalent experience may be accepted.
• Epic certification.
• Related healthcare operational or clinical experience.
