Epic Professional Billing Application Analyst

Location: Madison, Wisconsin, United States; hybrid schedule with 4 days in the office and 1 day remote. Requires authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, local travel between Exact Sciences locations, and up to 5% travel that may include overnight or weekend travel.

Base pay: $61,300.00–$122,700.00 per year; pay ranges may vary by location.

What you will do

• Design, configure, upgrade, and improve assigned business systems and low-complexity applications.
• Assess the impact of requested changes, guide workflow design, configure and test system changes, and analyze technical issues.
• Provide application support to end users, troubleshoot issues, resolve cross-application problems, and support production issues submitted through tracking systems.
• Develop processes and procedures, maintain technical and system documentation, and contribute to peer design and code reviews.
• Work with business stakeholders, project leadership, subject matter experts, and software vendor implementation staff to align business needs with system changes.
• Support training and end-user communication while identifying workflow improvements and providing project and issue status updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma/GED plus 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 3 years of experience developing or configuring technology solutions in an application analyst or project delivery role.
• Ability to understand industry best practices and perform strong analytical and problem-solving work.
• Strong computer skills, including internet navigation and email usage, and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to perform the essential duties with or without accommodation.

• Ability to communicate clearly with project leadership, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders in a cross-functional and complex matrix environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs, ambiguous situations, new information, and unexpected circumstances.
• Willingness to work nights and/or weekends as needed, maintain reliable attendance, work with computers and phones simultaneously, and spend approximately 90% of a typical working day using a computer, tablet, mobile device, or typing.

Nice to have

• Experience configuring business systems software in life sciences, healthcare, or a related industry.
• Certification in the Epic Professional Billing application.
