.NET Developer

Location: Onsite in Alexandria, VA, US, 5 days per week.

What you will do

• Develop, sustain, and modernize enterprise web applications throughout design, coding, testing, integration, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Build and maintain applications using .NET, SQL, Angular, and modern application architectures.
• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain APIs according to architectural and security practices.
• Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, unit tests, application components, and technical documentation.
• Use established DevSecOps toolchains for software build, integration, deployment, and testing.
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters, technical leads, developers, testers, and end users to deliver features and resolve application issues.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Must work onsite in Alexandria, VA, 5 days per week.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field; an additional 4 years of relevant professional experience may substitute for the degree, for a total of 12 years without a degree.
• 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a development team.
• Strong experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Experience developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise web applications and modern application architectures.
• Experience designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining APIs; working with Angular and JavaScript-based user interface frameworks; and writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Experience developing unit tests, maintaining application and technical design documentation, and using established DevSecOps processes and toolchains.
• Understanding of secure coding and software development best practices.
