Workday Functional Consultant (Workday)

Location: Homebased/remote in Poland, Spain, or Italy.

Salary: Poland: 172,000–200,000 PLN; Spain: 50,000–60,000 EUR.

What you will do

• Provide technical administration and expert support across the Workday platform.
• Configure assigned Workday modules and deliver enhancements under global design and governance standards.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement durable system improvements.
• Deliver change requests from requirements gathering through testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
• Lead assessment and testing of Workday bi-annual releases and assess technical impacts.
• Monitor performance, data quality, security, reporting accuracy, automation opportunities, and connected-system impacts while partnering with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in a Workday Functional role.
• Experience with at least one of the following Workday modules: Recruiting, Learning, or Compensation.
• Strong hands-on experience configuring Workday Business Processes.
• Proficiency building and maintaining Calculated Fields, inbound and outbound EIBs, custom reports, and condition rules.
• In-depth understanding of Workday data structures, business objects, and reporting frameworks.
• Experience using ServiceNow and Azure DevOps.
• Working knowledge of downstream integration behavior, data flows, and configuration impacts on connected systems.
• Ability to interpret Workday release notes, identify technical impacts, and assess system or process consequences.
• Experience delivering configuration changes under structured governance, with strong stakeholder engagement, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday Security or Integrations.
