Senior Consultant - Workday Benefits (Workday)

Location: Remote - US

Salary: $95,000.00–$125,000.00 USD annually

What you will do

• Configure and implement Workday Benefits solutions aligned with client benefit plans and compliance requirements.
• Gather client requirements, analyze needs, and design best-practice solutions.
• Support and troubleshoot integrations with payroll, insurance carriers, and COBRA administrators.
• Support benefits testing cycles, including open enrollment and life event processing.
• Provide guidance on ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and other benefits regulations.
• Create documentation, training materials, and knowledge-transfer sessions while recommending enhancements based on Workday releases and industry trends.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience with a strong focus on Workday Benefits.
• Experience configuring, testing, and deploying Workday Benefits solutions.
• Understanding of benefits regulations including ACA, HIPAA, and COBRA, as well as plan structures, eligibility rules, and data exchange requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in configuration and testing.
• Excellent communication skills for effective engagement with clients and project teams.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a project-team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
