Contracts Manager- UK Commodities

What you will do

• Negotiate and manage EFET and ISDA Master Agreements, Schedules and Credit Support Annexes for power, gas and broader commodities trading.
• Maintain documentation templates and standard negotiation positions with counterparties.
• Review parent company guarantees, letters of credit, surety bonds and other ancillary credit documentation.
• Advise commercial, credit and structuring teams on default provisions, termination triggers, netting and collateral mechanics.
• Own counterparty documentation from onboarding through renewals and resolution of outstanding negotiation points.
• Coordinate as the main contact between Legal, Credit, Compliance and front-office teams.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience negotiating EFET General Agreements in a trading, legal or credit role.
• Solid working knowledge of ISDAs and CSAs, including credit and collateral mechanics.
• Commodities trading experience, ideally gained at a bank, trading house or utility.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with a firm but commercially pragmatic style.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a high volume of parallel negotiations.
