Manager - External Financial Reporting

Salary: $110,000–$190,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Prepare, review, and file quarterly and annual financial statements, disclosures, and SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
• Contribute to earnings releases, presentations, proxy statements, bank group reporting, and applicable registration statements such as S-1 and S-3.
• Support accounting and external reporting for debt instruments and financing arrangements under US GAAP.
• Partner with Legal, Tax, FP&A, Corporate Accounting, Investor Relations, Internal Audit, and external auditors on disclosures, transactions, and emerging issues.
• Prepare Audit Committee materials and improve disclosures for clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
• Support the design and implementation of SOX 404 internal control frameworks, including control ownership and audit-ready processes.

Requirements

• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and reporting experience, including significant exposure to US GAAP technical accounting and SEC reporting.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements under PCAOB and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience assisting with external audits, regulatory filings, and compliance processes.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance frameworks.
• Experience interpreting and implementing new accounting standards and disclosure requirements.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex accounting matters to executives, auditors, and non-financial stakeholders.
