Senior Software Engineer (FS) (Fintech)

Location: United States; remote-first, with optional offices in San Jose, California and Draper, Utah.

Salary: $129,600–$155,600, $137,300–$164,700, or $152,500–$183,000 USD annually, depending on geographic zone.

What you will do

• Build scalable, modular systems for subscription hirify.globaling and pricing.
• Develop a platform that enables internal teams to launch hirify.globaling for new products quickly.
• Own customer-facing pricing and upgrade/downgrade experiences in the UI.
• Develop and maintain large-scale applications, REST APIs, and GraphQL services.
• Apply best practices, automated testing, and data-integrity controls to systems handling money.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and contribute to customer and business impact.

Requirements

• 5+ years of development experience with a Bachelor’s degree; additional work experience may be considered instead of a degree.
• Experience building large-scale, complex applications with Java, AWS, Lambda, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience developing REST APIs and working with GraphQL.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or DynamoDB.
• Knowledge of best practices and design patterns for large-scale applications.
• Strong automated testing habits across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Care for accuracy and data integrity in systems that handle money.
• Experience in the hirify.globaling, pricing, or payments domain.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
