Sr. Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Owings Mills, Maryland, United States; hybrid work with up to three days per week from home. Salary ranges are provided for Maryland, Colorado, Washington, remote workers, Washington, D.C., New York, and California.

Base salary: $123,531–$131,600 annually, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Create and maintain complex technical solutions and next-generation cloud-native applications.
• Plan and implement large-scale, enterprise-level distributed applications.
• Support complex data infrastructure and present user-friendly reports.
• Contribute to requirements gathering, planning, solution design, and application development throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, plus two years of software development experience.
• Object-oriented programming in Java backend development for mobile applications.
• Experience with RESTful web services and Spring.
• Experience with distributed code repositories, including Git or Mercurial.
• Experience with automated CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Experience with Apigee, Splunk, and IAM.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services, including S3, ECS, EC2, SQS, ElastiCache, ELB, Fargate, CloudWatch, CloudFront, and Lambda.
• FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
