Finance & HR Director (SaaS)

Location: Helsinki, Finland preferred; international and domestic travel required.

What you will do

• Lead global financial operations across accounting, group reporting, treasury, tax, FP&A, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow, and collections.
• Set the people strategy and lead HR operations across talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, retention, development, compensation, performance cycles, and benefits.
• Partner with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, managers, shareholders, and Board on financial strategy, governance, reporting, executive compensation, and company policies.
• Manage internal controls, enterprise risk, corporate compliance, employment law compliance, audits, insurers, government agencies, and relevant CBA negotiations.
• Optimize SaaS economics using metrics including LTV/CAC, payback, net retention, and new ACV.
• Drive automation and modernization in finance and HR using modern tools and AI agents.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a senior finance executive; HR leadership experience is preferred.
• Experience ideally gained in a global SaaS or technology company.
• Deep knowledge of complex, multi-jurisdictional operations with international teams.
• Strong understanding of SaaS business models, unit economics, and corporate finance.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate financial narratives and people vision to leadership, Board members, and global teams.
• Hands-on leadership style and ability to manage finance and HR priorities across regions and time zones.
