Director, People Business Partners

Location: New York City, NY; hybrid schedule with on-site work in the NYC office 3 days per week. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of People Business Partners supporting all departments.
• Advise C-suite and VP leaders on organizational design, succession planning, workforce planning, and executive coaching.
• Lead organizational scaling initiatives aligned with product roadmaps, go-to-market execution, and global growth.
• Oversee complex employee relations matters, risk mitigation, performance reviews, merit cycles, and career architecture.
• Drive talent management, succession planning, executive talent reviews, and high-potential leader development.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and People Operations on headcount, compensation, cross-border structures, and performance models.

Requirements

• 10+ years of HR experience, including 5+ years in a senior People Business Partner leadership role.
• Experience leading HRBP teams supporting both GTM functions and R&D in a high-growth technology or SaaS company.
• Strong understanding of GTM models and software development life cycles.
• Experience advising C-suite and VP leaders and leading people strategies through rapid scaling, international expansion, post-IPO growth, or M&A.
• Expertise in talent data, people analytics, AI tools, workflow automation, and organizational planning.
• BA/BS degree required; an advanced degree or SHRM-SCP/SPHR certification is preferred.
