Construction Project Manager (Fusion Energy)

Location: hirify.global Culham, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom; regular onsite presence required, usually 3–5 days per week, with flexible working where compatible with the role.

Salary: £57,117 per year, inclusive of a £5,800 specialist allowance.

What you will do

• Plan, design, develop, and deliver construction projects under the Property Strategy and Development Plan.
• Provide technical input into civil, mechanical, and electrical designs for new and existing buildings.
• Coordinate internal and external design and delivery teams while managing stakeholders with differing requirements.
• Develop building specifications for multipurpose scientific facilities incorporating offices, laboratories, and workshops.
• Manage budgets, contracts, programmes, performance reporting, and project and organisational risks.
• Apply BIM Level 2, CDM Regulations, construction legislation, hirify.global procedures, and systems including ASITE.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a construction discipline.
• Membership of an appropriate professional body, such as the Chartered Institute of Building or Association for Project Management.
• Proven experience managing the design and delivery of construction projects.
• Recent experience delivering construction projects within a publicly funded environment and working under relevant regulatory and internal procedures.
• Knowledge and practical experience of BIM Level 2 and construction legislation, including CDM Regulations.
• Strong stakeholder, budget, programme, and risk-management skills.
