Sr Manager, Production Operations

Location: Columbus, Georgia, USA

Salary: $85,000–$130,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity; eligible employees may participate in incentive compensation plans.

What you will do

• Lead and empower a team of production operations professionals and lower-level managers.
• Facilitate risk assessments and implement governance measures aligned with industry standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate across departments to integrate operations and align directional objectives.
• Develop policies, procedures, and the production operations network to support operational excellence and evolving business needs.
• Create reports and operational insights to evaluate efficiency, risks, and opportunities for automation, digitization, and process improvement.
• Build continuous skill development and promote collaboration, innovation, safety, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience managing a large team or multiple smaller teams of technical or professional colleagues and lower-level managers.
• Experience developing and executing tactical and operational plans with a 1–2 year horizon, or managing high-impact projects or programs.
• Expert-level knowledge and skills in production operations or a related discipline, with broad understanding of adjacent functional areas.
• Demonstrated ability to implement moderate to significant process, system, or product improvements.
• Strong communication and influence skills for working with cross-functional stakeholders on policies, practices, and procedures.

Nice to have

• Experience with P&L or budget oversight and management.
