Python Developer (AI)

Location: Bulgaria, Poland, or Romania; work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

What you will do

• Develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows with GitHub Actions.
• Automate testing, code quality checks, and deployment processes using Docker and containerized environments.
• Define SLOs and implement monitoring and alerting strategies to improve reliability and support rapid incident response.
• Collaborate with distributed teams in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Python application development.
• Hands-on experience developing REST APIs with FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.
• Practical experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD, testing, automation, and deployment.
• Good understanding of Git, branching strategies, and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Understanding of SLOs, monitoring, alerting, and system reliability.
• Practical experience using AI-powered assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a distributed team.
• Good command of English at minimum B2 level.
• Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have

• Experience applying GenAI in a structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations.
• Interest in emerging AI-driven practices such as agent-based workflows, automation patterns, and AI-augmented development.
