What you will do

• Measure and attribute performance for client and model portfolios, primarily using FactSet and Excel.
• Monitor portfolios, model changes, benchmarks, performance exceptions, anomalies, and data quality issues.
• Develop model portfolios, specialist benchmarks, internal systems, and performance processes while maintaining accurate audit trails.
• Produce performance reports, attribution analysis, committee papers, and responses to Investment Managers’ requests.
• Present performance and explain attribution to model construction committees.
• Collaborate with specialist teams including AIM, Charities, and Sustainable Opportunities.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience of investment management, with an interest in financial markets.
• Experience in performance measurement or working with complex spreadsheets.
• Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
• Ability to learn proprietary IT systems quickly and keep technical knowledge current.
• Ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines, and contribute to ad-hoc projects.
• Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication, teamwork, decision-making, and time-management skills.

Nice to have

• FactSet experience, including its portfolio analysis system.
• Familiarity with macros and VBA.
• Numerate degree in Maths, Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Willingness to participate in the CFA Program.
