Backend Software Engineer (AI)

Location: 100% remote; hirify.global can hire in countries where it has a legal entity. The role is associated with San Francisco, United States.

Salary: $227,000 per year.

What you will do

• Build reliable backend software features and services for the Focus Funds and AI team.
• Develop REST APIs that power core customer experiences.
• Configure monitoring for backend services.
• Build CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop platform integrations with the content management system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, plus three years of related work experience; alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent plus one year of related work experience.
• At least one year of experience in backend application development and architecture.
• At least one year of experience performing platform integrations using REST.
• At least one year of experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Go, Scala, or Python.
• At least one year of experience with version control systems such as Git or Mercurial in a collaborative team setting.
• At least one year of experience with an enterprise content management system or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience with software quality, reliability, and performance.
• Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience will be accepted.
