Senior Staff Engineer - Project Manager

Location: Hybrid — New York, New York, United States

Salary: $120K–$145K gross annually, including base and bonuses, plus standard benefits.

What you will do

• Lead project planning, execution, and delivery according to PMP best practices.
• Manage timelines, budgets, resources, scope, risks, issues, and changes for fixed-bid and public sector projects.
• Serve as the primary client contact and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, conduct status meetings, and provide progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and government regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in project management practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of project management experience, including project leadership and the application of project management methodologies.
• Hands-on experience managing fixed-price or fixed-bid projects with full accountability for scope, budget, and delivery.
• Strong experience leading end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery aligned with PMP best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience managing complex timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and change management.
• Ability to act as the primary client contact and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree.
• Experience delivering projects in public sector environments.
• Exposure to account management and business development activities.
