Software Engineer II, AI DevTools

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work with a minimum of 3 days per week in the assigned office, primarily Tuesday through Thursday.

What you will do

• Develop cutting-edge AI tools that improve engineering productivity and developer experience.
• Build and own software end to end, including design, development, testing, maintenance, and support.
• Optimize and maintain development platforms and infrastructure with Software Engineers and Site Reliability Engineers.
• Contribute to roadmaps, technical vision, team meetings, and knowledge sharing within the engineering organization.
• Represent hirify.global Poland internally and externally and contribute to company culture.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, responding to and triaging issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related field.
• At least 1 year of professional software development experience.
• Familiarity with Linux fundamentals and solid coding skills.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python, Go, or JavaScript.
• Proficient English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with shell scripting and system administration.
• Hands-on experience with containers and Docker.
• Knowledge of networking basics.
