Project Leader (m/f/d) – ssMOS Development (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of multi-site R&D and industrialization projects, including studies, cost reduction initiatives, transfers, and complex new product introductions.
• Define project plans, coordinate stakeholders and management levels, and deliver projects within agreed specifications, quality, timing, cost, reporting, and organizational boundaries.
• Build and lead cross-functional project teams, providing operational guidance and managing conflicts in an intercultural and matrixed environment.
• Analyze and mitigate project risks, manage requested changes, and maintain quality standards.
• Define budgets, control costs, track CAPEX and product costs, and provide transparent reporting and approval presentations to senior management.
• Contribute to process and quality improvements and continue professional development through cross-organizational learning.

Requirements

• University degree in engineering, preferably in microelectronics or semiconductor physics.
• At least 3 years of proven experience successfully managing and delivering projects, depending on educational credentials.
• Proven leadership qualities and experience leading diverse, cross-functional project teams in an intercultural, matrixed organization.
• Strong understanding of risk management, change management, resource planning, budget management, CAPEX, and product cost control.
• Ability to build, motivate, and sustain high-performing teams.
• Ability to work under pressure, take initiative, and find solutions to problems.
• Fluent written and spoken English and strong communication skills in German.
• Good team-player skills.

Nice to have

• PMI certification or similar.
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and packages.
