Contracts Lawyer (m/f/d) (Aerospace)

Location: Augsburg or Peißenberg, Germany; mobile working is available according to the area of responsibility. Business travel, including abroad, is required.

MT Management Service GmbH is part of the OHB space and technology group and provides centralized Human Resources, Finance, Controlling, and IT services for MT Aerospace and Aerotech Peißenberg.

What you will do

• Handle legal issues relating to national and international contract law independently.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and monitor contracts in German and English.
• Advise business units on contract law matters.
• Support the sales team with legally sound quotations.
• Support and negotiate procurement contracts, provide legal oversight, and ensure project-specific client requirements are met in subcontractor relationships.
• Assess and handle export-related legal matters.

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree with at least one state examination in law, or a comparable qualification.
• Very good knowledge of contract law.
• Business fluency in German and English.
• Assertiveness and a structured, constructive approach to work.
• Flexibility and willingness to undertake business travel, including abroad.

Nice to have

• Professional experience in an international commercial enterprise.
• Knowledge of export control, or willingness to familiarise yourself with this subject area.
• Experience with ESA programmes and/or national or European programmes.
• Advanced knowledge of French.
