AIT Manager (Space Systems)

What you will do

• Take overall responsibility for planning, executing, and controlling all AIT activities throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Support System Engineering with design verification from an AIT perspective during early project phases.
• Plan and manage project AIT tasks, schedules, documentation, facilities, personnel, software, ground support equipment, and results processing.
• Build and technically lead AIT teams, coordinate regular meetings, and manage ground support equipment subcontractors when applicable.
• Organize and contribute to AIT reviews including IRR, TRR, and NRB, represent AIT interests, and support decision-making.
• Provide AIT status updates, organize lessons-learned sessions, and ensure implementation of improvements.

Requirements

• Completed engineering degree in a technical discipline, preferably with an additional economics background, or an equivalent qualification.
• Long-term experience in space projects.
• Technical leadership experience involving several employees.
• Good communication skills, strong problem-solving orientation, a structured working method, assertiveness, flexibility, and resilience.
• High cost and time awareness, commitment to continuous progress, and ability to provide alternative solutions.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work shifts.
